Okay, so any of you who know me well know that I love pumpkin and all things that can be made with pumpkin. Perhaps my body has an extra need for Vitamin A causing me to love pumpkin, carrots, sweet potatoes, cantaloupe, and other such foods. Anyway, for a long time I have wanted to try out my culinary skills on a fresh pumpkin pie. So, last month I bought a pumpkin at Huber’s Orchard for a pie based on the recommendation of an older lady working at the store. She said it was the best kind of pumpkin for a pie. Here we go…
