Jonah and I spent Tuesday through Saturday of last week at a resort in northern Minnesota with my parents and my sister and her husband. We had a wonderful time!

Jonah enjoyed swimming in the pools. He could touch the bottom in the wading pool. So, he sat in his floaty and motored around.

Jonah and I mini-golfed as a team since he was attached to me. Surprisingly, I mini-golfed very well and got the best score of the evening. We even got a couple hole-in-ones!

Jonah and I leaving for a walk with my sister and her friend’s daughter. Jonah loved having Kendra around. He watched her play and loved to talk to her.

One evening we made s’mores by the lake. We used fudge striped cookies instead of graham crackers and chocolate bars. Much easier!
Little did we know that Jonah was sick that evening. He had been a bit fussy and had a runny nose, but I figured it was just teeth coming in. He felt warm when we got back to our cabin. He was running a fever of 101.8! This little boy has never had a fever before. I gave him some tylenol, but he kept a low grade fever through Saturday. (Still no teeth…but I can feel the top 4 ready to poke through!)

A fever didn’t stop us from swimming! Jonah enjoyed playing with the beach ball in the pool.

The two of us in front of our little two-bedroom cabin. Jacuzzi on the deck, golf course in the back, lake and pools down the street…what more could one ask for on vacation?!?!
